Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine (?), 625-629. Seal (Lead, 25 mm, 7.87 g, 11 h). Facing busts of Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine, each wearing crown and chlamys (?). Rev. Large monogram containing E, Π, B and V with a large cross in the center. Unpublished in the standard references. Crack along the channel and some deposits, otherwise, very fine.

The portraits on this seal resemble the imperial portraits of Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine on solidi dated circa 625-629 (cf. DOC 20-25) and on some imperial seals with the Mother of God on the obverse (Zacos/Veglery 12e and DO Seals 15)
